SpaceNest, with the mission of “bringing new value to unused spaces,” runs a marketplace business for renting meeting rooms, event spaces, photo studios and more by the hour, connecting hosts and guests nationwide.
To make idle spaces productive and let people quickly find the right place for their needs, we launched a mobile app from scratch that handles everything from map search to booking and chat.
None of these were mere feature additions — each was a business requirement tied directly to host occupancy, guest discoverability and transaction trust. Building from scratch, we needed a design that made all of them work at once.
We built four domains — map search, booking, chat and review — from scratch in-house, combining an Express API, native apps and an admin CMS. It's the launch of a new space-sharing platform where hosts and guests connect with confidence in the app.
