In response to SMEs saying they can't find an expert that fits them, this is the launch story of a new platform that unified search, concierge referral, and member management onto a single foundation — built in-house from scratch in 6 months.
A business association that has long supported SMEs across Japan. To connect labor consultants—the experts in labor and social insurance—with the SMEs that need them, it launched an online search and matching platform.
The keys were ensuring companies reliably reach the expert that fits them, and not losing undecided companies through concierge referral. The goal was to drive client acquisition for member labor consultants while solving companies' challenges at the same time.

Distilling a database of 4,800 experts into a UX companies can use without hesitation. This was a challenge of both search design and of flow design that leaves no undecided company behind.
To go from 4,800 consultants to the one that matches your criteria, we needed multi-axis filtering by field, region, and size to reach it quickly.
Many companies look for an expert nearby, so map pin display and area search were indispensable.
For companies that can't choose on their own, we prepared a concierge referral flow so that no consultation opportunity is missed.
As a benefit for consultants who register, we needed to establish a mechanism for receiving consultations and managing profiles.
The company-facing search, the labor consultant's My Page, and the operator admin console were all built in-house from scratch as a fast frontend with embedded map search. Multi-axis filtering and map display were brought together into a single search experience.
