CLIENT
About the client

Outdoor Mobility, one of Japan's leading companies driving the outdoor market.

Outdoor Mobility is a manufacturer and retailer of camper vans. Its strengths are a diverse model range and proposals that fit each user's lifestyle.

Meanwhile, websites tend to go stale, with updates dependent on an agency. They chose to build — in-house and from scratch, CMS included — a brand site that promotes their models and stories themselves and turns interest into inquiries.

CHALLENGE
Design challenges to solve

Four structural requirements balancing acquisition and operations.

None of these are about technology choices; they are business requirements tied directly to brand value, inquiry volume and operating cost. A from-scratch build needed a design that ‘makes them all work at once.’

Models' appeal doesn't get across
If photos and specs aren't shown attractively,Not chosen in comparison
Content doesn't keep up
Without systematizing publishing,Fan nurturing & repeat visits doesn't lead anywhere.
Inquiries slip away
Get the flow design wrong, and hard-won visitorsCan't convert into prospects
Operations become externally dependent
If you can't update in-house,Speed & cost becomes a drag on the business.
