Company A Platform Build Story
To protect confidentiality, company names, project names, and system images have been replaced with pseudonyms and mockups.

A brand's fan community, built in-house from scratch.

FanVillage is a multi-tenant SaaS that lets a company run a fan community unique to its own brand as a "Village." It consolidates customer touchpoints once scattered across official social media and LINE OpenChat into a single place, and helps keep "your own fans" highly engaged through real-time interaction, gamification, and LINE Mini App integration.

A multi-tenant foundation, real-time interaction, LINE integration, and operational insight — this platform meets all four axes essential to community marketing, built from scratch over 12 months of fully in-house development — the story of launching a brand-new platform.

About the client

"Company A" — a leading domestic driver of marketing and community.

Company A is a leading domestic customer-marketing DX company that gives D2C brands and retailers "a fan community all their own." By consolidating customer touchpoints scattered across official social media and LINE OpenChat into a single "Village," it aims to realize a world where brands can nurture relationships with their own fans directly.

Multiple brands spin up "their own villages" in parallel and continuously raise customer engagement by combining real-time interaction, gamification, and LINE integration — designed not as a mere chat tool but as a platform that turns community into a "management asset."

CHALLENGE
Design challenges to solve

The four structural requirements demanded of the platform.

None of these were questions of technology choice; they were business requirements tied directly to brand experience, customer engagement, speed of market expansion, and operational management decisions. Building new from scratch, we needed a design that "makes them all hold true at once."

Can "multi-tenancy" and "each brand's distinct world" coexist?

Get the design wrong and a single foundation can't reconcile the flexibility to instantly spin up brand-specific villages with the data- and permission-level isolation of every contracted village. You end up with a foundation that gives up one or the other.

How to deliver real-time interaction at low cost

Try to deliver chat, voice, video, and screen sharing in a single service and the components scatter, making operational load explode. From the start we had to plan for an architecture able to withstand 5,000+ concurrent connections and beyond.

Can we unify the LINE Mini App and the web into a single experience?

If we gave up seamless onboarding from LINE-based invitations, the SNS → Web drop-off exceeds 60%. Cross-platform ID integration had to be built into the initial design.

Can fan engagement be turned into operational decisions?

If we bolted on the mechanism to visualize behavioral data — posts, reactions, and dwell time — only after the fact, there's no way to catch churn signals. A design with a built-in data foundation from day one became the prerequisite.

ARCHITECTURE
The architecture we built together

Turning customer touchpoints into an "always-on foundation" across four domains.

Rather than a single-function SaaS, as a foundation that supports the brand's customer experience from many angles, we built out four domains — multi-tenancy, real-time interaction, LINE integration, and operational insight — in-house, from the ground up. Because each domain is linked through an event-driven architecture, everything from launching a new brand to operational decisions is completed as a single experience.
