Building maintenance, done in-house from scratch.

FaciliFlow is a work-order management platform that connects the field and management for inspection and repair of building equipment. It shares photo-based defect reports, work orders, and progress in real time.

Accurate defect reporting, work-order visualization, inspection-procedure standardization, and unified equipment/inventory management ─ the launch story of a new platform, built in-house from scratch in 10 months to satisfy at once the four axes essential to facility maintenance.

CLIENT
About the client

Grand Facility Management, one of the nation's leading firms safeguarding building safety.

Grand Facility Management Co., Ltd. provides facility maintenance and building maintenance for office buildings, commercial facilities, and logistics hubs. Across many properties, it handles inspection and repair of building equipment such as HVAC, electrical, water supply and drainage, and elevators.

As the business expanded, the client needed to digitize maintenance work that relied on paper and phone calls and to build a platform connecting the field and management. Amela accompanied them as the partner that built this work-order management platform in-house from scratch.

CHALLENGE
The design challenges to solve

The four structural requirements demanded of maintenance operations.

None of these are technology-selection issues — they are business requirements tied directly to response speed, quality, and cost. Building anew from scratch required a design that satisfies them all at once.

Paper- and phone-dependent defect reporting
Relying on verbal and paper reports leads to missed records and transcription errors, delaying response.
Lack of progress visibility
If work status is not visible in real time, duplicated work and delays occur.
Person-dependent inspection procedures
If SOPs are scattered on paper, work quality varies and training becomes difficult.
Scattered equipment and inventory data
If ledgers and inventory are fragmented, rework and stockouts bring the field to a halt.

ARCHITECTURE
The architecture we built together

Turning facility maintenance into a scalable platform across four domains.

We built four domains — defect reporting, work-order visualization, inspection-procedure standardization, and master-data management — entirely in-house from scratch with React Native + Next.js + NestJS. The field app and the management portal connect through a single API, delivering a platform that stays synchronized in real time.
