Both lesson records and operations management,In-house build from scratchto in-vehicle IoT.

DriveLog is a driving-instruction platform that automates everything from retrieving training-car schedules to recording and voice logging of drives via in-vehicle IoT, managing it all centrally in the cloud. It supports instruction quality with data.

"Record automation, instruction review, operations management, vehicle & device management" - the story of launching a new platform: an IoT foundation satisfying all four pillars of driving instruction at once, built in-house from scratch in 8 months.

CLIENT
About the client

"DriveAcademy Co., Ltd." - one of the nation's leading driving schools, supporting regional traffic safety.

DriveAcademy Co., Ltd. is an operator running driving instruction services. With many training cars and instructors, they needed to support safe, high-quality instruction through efficient operations.

Meanwhile, lesson records relied on handwriting and memory, making review and quality standardization difficult. We chose to build from scratch in-house a platform that automates records with in-vehicle IoT and supports instruction and operations with data.

CHALLENGE
Design challenges to solve

Four structural requirements underpinning instruction quality and operational efficiency.

None of these were technology-selection problems, but business requirements directly tied to instruction quality, safety, and operational efficiency. A new build from scratch required a design that "satisfied them all at once."

No records are kept
Without automating records,Instruction depends on individualsand quality cannot be standardized.
Review is impossible
Without leveraging recording and voice,Improving and sharing instructiondoes not lead anywhere.
Schedule updates get missed
Without delivering dispatch and schedules as data,Miscommunication and confusionoccurs.
Information is scattered
Without integrating schools, instructors, and vehicles,Operations visibilityis not possible.

ARCHITECTURE
The architecture we built together

Turning driving instruction into a "data-driven platform" across four domains.

Record automation, instruction review, operations management, and vehicle & device management - we built the four domains essential to driving instruction from scratch in-house, together with DriveAcademy Co., Ltd. In-vehicle IoT and cloud APIs connect the field with its data.
