WorkLink Inc. is a business with staff working across multiple sites. Amid diverse work styles, it needed to manage attendance and pay accurately and efficiently.
Attendance management centered on paper and timecards was slow to total, and overtime calculation and account-info management were fragmented. We chose to build, in-house and from scratch, an app that handles all of this on a phone.
None of these were questions of technology choice; they were business requirements tied directly to labor-management accuracy, aggregation efficiency, and staff usability. Building anew from scratch required a design that satisfies all of them at once.
