ClipPost is a multi-tenant SaaS that automatically generates a video of an AI avatar resembling the sender reading the email aloud and embeds it in the message. Combining an Outlook add-in, a web CMS and a delivery platform, it makes sales communication land.
One-click creation from the add-in, AI script generation, avatar video synthesis and open/play analytics — a platform meeting all four axes a video-email business needs, built in-house from scratch in 8 months. This is the story of that launch.
The video email provider is a SaaS company offering video communication to corporate sales and marketing teams. Multiple client companies (tenants) register their own staff's faces and voices on the same platform and create and send video emails.
Video conveys the personality and enthusiasm plain text cannot, lifting response and reply rates after an email is opened. The core value is that no filming or editing is required: an AI avatar reads the message aloud in an automatically generated video.
None of these were questions of technology choice; they were business requirements tied directly to communication power, production efficiency, delivery reliability and measurement. Building from scratch demanded a design that satisfies all of them at once.
Communication, production efficiency, multi-tenancy and measurement — all four areas built in-house from scratch. The Outlook add-in, web CMS and delivery API are loosely coupled and video generation is delegated asynchronously to an external AI platform, so rising traffic or generation load never stops the service.

This foundation continuously produces business outcomes — communication power, sales efficiency and room to scale — rather than technical metrics.
